Invisalign is the preferred teeth alignment system for adults and teens today.

Made up of clear, virtually invisible, and flexible aligners, Invisalign corrects misaligned teeth without the discomfort and the awkward look of bulky metal wires and brackets.

Dentists and patients alike love Invisalign for its fast, precise results. But the success of this solution also depends on 100% accurate fitting and a treatment plan that specifically considers each individual’s unique needs and preferences.

‍

That’s why at Golden Bay Dental Clinic we make sure you will get the best of what Invisalign can offer through our thorough, personalised, and compassionate care. Our dentist with a solid experience and expertise in Invisalign will be in charge of your treatment.

Clear Aligner Treatment with Invisalign

Do you have crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, an overbite or an underbite? Misaligned teeth can be harder to clean, which may raise the risk of tooth decay, gum problems and uneven wear over time. Invisalign is one treatment option that may help, depending on your needs.

Metal braces are a well-established way to straighten teeth. Invisalign uses a series of removable clear aligners instead, which some patients find easier to fit around their daily routine. Aligners need to be worn most of the day, usually 20 to 22 hours, to work as planned. Some discomfort is common when you switch to a new set.

  • Pliant and barely noticeable
  • Comfortable, snug fit
  • No forced pressure to the teeth
  • Easy to take off and put on
  • No food and lifestyle restrictions
  • 3D custom fitted; no gaps in between teeth
  • Few face-to-face visits to the dentist in between fittings
  • Predictable, measurable results

Simple, Convenient Process

Invisalign is designed to make the tooth straightening process as easy and as painless as possible. When you opt for Invisalign, you can expect to go through the following steps:

  1. Consultation and mapping. Your dental team will conduct a full dental examination which includes taking a 3D scan of your teeth. The dentist will then map out your treatment and develop a personalised treatment plan with you.
  2. First fitting. The first fitting will be conducted with care and much thought, with your dentist closely assessing the aligners to make sure they are the perfect fit.
  3. Congratulations! You can now wear your Invisalign aligners as instructed. Eat, clean your teeth, work and play as usual; Invisalign will not require any changes to your routine.
  4. Scheduled clinic visits. You’ll be asked to go back every 6 to 8 weeks for check-ups or, if it’s time, get fitted with your next set of Invisalign aligners.

‍Is Invisalign For You?

Results vary from person to person. Possible risks include discomfort, short-term changes to speech, tooth sensitivity, and teeth moving back if you don't wear retainers after treatment.

Invisalign treatment needs careful planning and regular check-ups. It's important to choose a dental team with training and experience in clear aligner treatment.
